JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Coppin State's Latifa Ali finished 16th in the 400m dash with a time of 53.82 at the NCAA East Preliminaries on Saturday night, hosted by University of North Florida at Hodges Stadium.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Coppin State's Latifa Ali advanced to Saturday's quarterfinals of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminaries in the 400m dash with her performance on Thursday night, hosted by University of North Florida at Hodges Stadium.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Coppin State's track & field teams will send four individuals to the NCAA East Preliminaries, held at University of North Florida on May 24-27. Latifa Ali and Kimani Alphonse are set to run in the 400m dash with Jeff Hammond and James Bell competing in the long jump and high jump, respectively.

NORFOLK, Va. – Highlighted by a podium sweep of the 400m dash, the Coppin State women's track & field team took fifth of eight teams with 88 points at the MEAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Norfolk State at Dick Price Stadium this week.

BALTIMORE – Track & Field's Amadou Ba and volleyball's Miajavon Coleman received the President's Eagle Awards as Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPY Awards on Wednesday night at James Weldon Johnson Auditorium.  Sam Sessoms from men's basketball and volleyball's Andrea Tsvetanova received CSU's Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards, respectively.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Coppin State's track & field teams battled wild and rainy conditions at the Penn Relays over the weekend and were led by a third-place finish by the women's 4x200m Relay.

BALTIMORE – Halutie Hor and Jahmei Wyatt won events as the Coppin State women's track & field team competed at the Morgan State Legacy on Saturday at Hughes Stadium.

NORFOLK, Va. – Latifa Ali easily won the 400m dash and led the 4x400m Relay to a win as Coppin State's women's track & field team competed at the NSU Invitational on Saturday.

TAMPA, Fla. – Halutie Hor won the 200m dash while taking second in the 100 m dash to lead the Coppin State women's track & field team on Saturday afternoon at the South Florida Invitational.

TOWSON, Md. – Coppin State's women's track & field team got a win by the 4x400m Relay and four other top five finishes at the Towson Spring Open this weekend at Johnny Unitas Stadium.
