Ba, Coleman Receive President’s Eagle Awards at CSU's Annual ESPY Awards
BALTIMORE – Track & Field's Amadou Ba and volleyball's Miajavon Coleman received the President's Eagle Awards as Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPY Awards on Wednesday night at James Weldon Johnson Auditorium.  Sam Sessoms from men's basketball and volleyball's Andrea Tsvetanova received CSU's Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards, respectively.

Ba, Wyatt Lead Cross Country at MEAC Championships
SMYRNA, Del. – Amadou Ba and Jahmei Wyatt led the Coppin State men's & women's cross teams at the MEAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning at the Delaware State Research & Outreach Center.  The men finished eighth in the team standings while the women placed seventh.

Monroque Earns All-Conference Honors; Eagles Take 3rd at MEAC Championships
CARY, N.C. – Kamillah Monroque finished 15th overall to earn All-Conference honors to lead the Coppin State women's cross country team to a third place finish at the MEAC Championships on Friday morning at WakeMed Soccer Park.  Placing just ahead of Coppin was Norfolk State and Howard.

Cross Country Leads Conference with 12 MEAC All-Academic Selections
NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's cross country program led the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference with 12 MEAC All-Academic selections, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.  The MEAC recognized 67 total student-athletes from the conference's eight institutions who achieved high academic success during the 2020-21 academic year.

Cross Country to Take Part in MEAC Championships on Friday Morning
CARY, N.C. – Coppin State's men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the 2021 MEAC Championships on Friday, October 29 at the WakeMed Soccer Park.  The championships will begin with the women's 5K race at 11 am, followed by the men's 8K at 11:45 am.

Track & Field Declared Grand Prize Winner in Silk Team Protein Contest
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's track & field program has been declared as an official Grand Prize Winner in the Silk Team Protein Contest, it was announced by the organization.  The Eagles will receive a $10,000 donation, a live Q&A session with track & field legend Carl Lewis, and a supply of Silk beverages for the upcoming track & field season.
