Bowling Honored by NTCA for Academic Prowess
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Coppin State's bowling program has been recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic Team, it was announced by the organization on Wednesday.  Teams must have recorded at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average for the academic year to be eligible for consideration.

Bowling Finalizes 2022-23 Roster with Addition of Janaye Monroe
BALTIMORE – Coppin State bowling head coach Shaunita Middleton has announced the addition of Janaye Monroe to the Eagles roster for the 2022-23 season. A native of nearby Bowie, Md., Monroe competed at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina the last two seasons.

Bowling Inks Elizabeth Stokley for 2022-23 Season
BALTIMORE – Coppin State head bowling coach Shaunita Middleton has announced that Elizabeth Stokley (Elizabeth City, N.C.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the Eagles during the 2022-23 season. Stokley is the second incoming freshman signed by Coppin State for the upcoming season, joining Xiani Carpenter who committed in December.

Manu, Coleman Receive President’s Eagle Awards to Headline 2022 Eagle ESPY Awards
BALTIMORE – Track & Field's Joseph Manu and volleyball's Miajavon Coleman received the President's Eagle Awards as Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPY Awards on Monday night at James Weldon Auditorium.  Nendah Tarke and Jaia Alexander received CSU's Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards, respectively.

Bowling Drops Opening Matches to Delaware State, Norfolk State at MEAC Championship
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Entering the MEAC Championship as the seventh seed, Coppin State's bowling team dropped its first two matches this weekend and were eliminated from title contention after Saturday at Pinboy's at the Beach.

Brown, Johnson Named to All-Tournament Teams; Bowling Takes Third at TNBA HBCU Invitational
ATLANTA – Logan Brown and TaVera Johnson were both named to the All-Tournament Team, leading the Coppin State bowling team to a third-place finish at the TNBA HBCU Invitational, hosted by Jackson State University over the weekend at Fun Time Bowl. The Eagles recorded 11,553 total pins in 67 total games to average 172.4 per game.

Brown Leads Bowling to 12th Place Finish at Stallings Invitational
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Logan Brown averaged a 184.20 in traditional play to lead the Coppin State bowling team to a 12th place finish at the Stallings Invitational, hosted by North Carolina A&T at Triad Lanes this weekend.  The Eagles totaled 8,147 pins to average 162.9 per game for the Tournament.

Logan Brown Leads Bowling at MEAC Meet #2
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA- Coppin State's bowling team finished seventh out of nine teams at MEAC Meet #2 held at Pinboy's at the Beach. The Eagles went 2-7 over the tournament with wins over Howard and Norfolk State.
