Ba, Coleman Receive President’s Eagle Awards at CSU's Annual ESPY Awards
BALTIMORE – Track & Field's Amadou Ba and volleyball's Miajavon Coleman received the President's Eagle Awards as Coppin State University Athletic Department held its annual Eagles ESPY Awards on Wednesday night at James Weldon Johnson Auditorium.  Sam Sessoms from men's basketball and volleyball's Andrea Tsvetanova received CSU's Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards, respectively.

Coppin State Athletics Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2022-23
BALTIMORE – Coppin State University proudly released today the five individuals who will comprise the CSU Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2022-23.  Paige Arnold (softball), Gary 'Tank' Barnes (men's basketball), Derek Brown (Women's Basketball Head Coach/ Men's Basketball Assistant Coach), Jamie Imhof (softball) and John Koenig (Baseball) make up the inductees.

Coppin State Student-Athletes Record MEAC-Leading 89 Percent Graduation Success Rate
BALTIMORE – Coppin State's Department of Athletics announced today that the 2015 Student-Athlete cohort recorded an 89 percent Graduation Success Rate (GSR), which is currently the highest in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). This comes days after the Eagles received an award from the MEAC for accumulating a league-high 83 percent GSR, spanning the 2011-14 cohorts. ?

BALTIMORE – The Coppin State University department of athletics mourns the passing of former Eagle baseball coach Reginald (Reggie) E. Smith. Smith battled with illness for two years and transitioned on December 30, 2021.

Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Donates Nearly 400 Toys to Local Charity in First-Ever “Toy Drive Challenge” Ahead of Cricket Celebration Bowl
NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) first-ever "Toy Drive Challenge," in partnership with Toys for Tots, has officially concluded. Beginning in early November and running through the first week of December, MEAC member institutions set up drop sites on campus and at athletic events for children's toy donations ahead of the holidays.
