Introduction to Pilates Mat Exercise
Undergraduate Credits
A Pilates-based mat fitness exercise system that will introduce students to a series of core stabilization exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, agility and aerobic activity. Student will learn basic Pilates exercise terminology and health related concepts to improve their understanding of the physical and emotional benefits of exercise as a lifestyle. The class material is performed in a safe, sensible and stress free environment. Course is repeatable once.
