Psychosomatic Disorders: The Autonomic Nervous System Stress,and Biofeedback

This course focuses upon four major areas: (a) the meaning and nature of psychosomatic disorders, their causes and symptoms, (b) organization of the central and autonomic nervous systems and their interaction with other body systems, (c) the nature and sources of stress, and (d) the use of biofeedback and mental exercises in learning how to manage the autonomic and other systems responsible for psychosomatic disorders.
