This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and application of statistics to decison-making in business. Major topics include measures of central location, variability, and correlation between two variables; probabilities; discrete and continuous probability distributions; sampling distributions; confidence intervals; and hypothesis testing. Prerequisite: MATH 131
