Practical experience for the student in sociology through outside, professionally guided fieldwork involving internships with local, state, or federal social agencies, an in-depth analysis of a problem, or an empirical research project. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor and SOCI 201/SOCI 407 or 6 additional hours in sociology.
